Attending were Councilmembers John Ranz, Jeff Albrinck and Bill Puthoff, David Elmer, Chief Mike Hauck, Chief Niel Korte and David Nichols, Cynthia Caracci. Also in attendance were Chris Patterson and Stiney Vonderhaar
1) Recreation- no report
2) Police
• Gorman Farm Incident
8 yr old from Sharonville allegedly assaulted other boys. Parent wants to pursue charges. Prosecutor’s office will not prosecute. 241-KIDS is handling matter.
• Appropriation ordinance
Drug Law Enforcement Task Force appropriation will be on the agenda
• CALEA Certification
Chief Korte, Tina McCormick and Jeff McDaniel attended the CALEA convention in Colorado Springs to receive the 8th straight certification
Chief Korte discussed the pros and cons of body cameras. He will continue to evaluate
3) Fire
• Hiring Ordinance-Hiring Committee approved the hiring of Robert Durnwald
Medicaid showed up for a surprise audit. Due to diligent record keeping, the Fire Dept passed with flying colors. There will be a few minor items of clarification.
Hamilton Co Fire Chiefs will be pursuing Grant for new radios. Cost of new radios for Fire Dept will be approximately $200,000
4) Admin-Waiting on pricing from PUCO re electric aggregation
